Prepare the following seasonings:
Soy sauce: 1 teaspoon
Cooking sake: 1 teaspoon
Cornstarch: 1 teaspoon
Place 200g of thinly sliced beef into a bag. *You can also use a bowl if preferred.
Add all the prepared seasonings to the bag (or bowl) with the beef.
Gently massage the beef with the seasonings, then let it sit for about 3 minutes.
Slice 3 to 4 bell peppers into thin strips.
Slice the bamboo shoots into thin strips. *Using pre-sliced, boiled bamboo shoots from the store can make this step easier!
Prepare the following seasonings:
Oyster sauce: 1 tablespoon
Mirin: 1 tablespoon
Soy sauce: 1 teaspoon
Sugar: 1 teaspoon
Mix all the ingredients together to make the sauce.
Stir-fry the sliced bamboo shoots and bell peppers over medium heat until they are cooked through.
Once they are done cooking, remove them from the pan and set them aside.
Stir-fry the prepared beef over medium heat until it is fully cooked.
Add the bamboo shoots and bell peppers back to the pan, and stir-fry them together with the beef over medium heat briefly.
Add the prepared sauce and stir-fry quickly over high heat until everything is well coated and heated through. It’s ready to serve!
