Wash 5 bell peppers thoroughly.
Prepare the following seasonings and mix them together:
Mirin: 1 tablespoon
Soy sauce: 1 tablespoon
Cooking sake: 1 tablespoon
Sugar: 2 teaspoons
Heat sesame oil and add all the bell peppers to the pan.
Cover with a lid and cook over low heat, turning occasionally, for 6 minutes.
Continue cooking until the bell peppers are evenly browned.
Add the prepared seasonings and toss until everything is well coated. *Optionally, sprinkle with white sesame seeds before serving.
